De TV serie werd gemaakt in een tijd waarin veel over buitenaardse wezens, vliegende schotels en
paranormale verschijnselen werd gesproken en geloofd.
De X-files liep gedurende 9 seizoenen.

Plot:
Special FBI agent Dana Scully vormt toegevoegd aan Special FBI agent Fox Mulder om het werk op een speciaal project de
"X-files" genoemd te bevestigen. Fox Mulder gelooft in het paranormale dat zijn oorsprong vindt bij een verloren
herinnering van zijn zuster die door buitenaardse wezens ontvoerd werd. Zij is een wetenschapper die altijd zoekt naar
rationele, logische verklaringen voor gebeurtenissen.

Seizoen 1 Episode 1:
Mulder en Scully zijn op weg
naar de Ellens Air Force basis voor een onderzoek naar de mysterieuze verdwijning van een miltaire test piloot. Tijdens
het onderzoek ontmoet Mulder een vreemde man genaamd "Deep Throat" en die vertelt dat hij over geclassificeerde
informatie beschikt ten aanzien van zijn onderzoek naar het paranormale.

Scully head to Ellens Air Force Base to investigate the mysterious case of a military test pilot who disappeared after
experiencing strange psychotic behavior. While on the case, Mulder meets a mysterious man dubbed 'Deep Throat', who
claims to have classified information about his investigations into the paranormal.
